More about me.

Originally from Hitchin, Hertfordshire, I now live in a charming part of Bedfordshire with my beautiful wife, baby daughter and pussy cat Binks. In my spare time I like being near the sea as often as possible and regularly visit Cornwall, exploring the beautiful coastline and sampling a fair number of cream teas along the way. I'm also a passionate Formula One fan and attend as many Grand Prix as possible. I was a competitive kart racer in my youth so I absolutely adore my motor racing!

My memories of falling in love with photography go way back to when I studied Graphic Design at uni in the early 2000s. I remember first experimenting with black and white film and waiting in anticipation as the images slowly emerged in the developing tray. I can still remember the thrill of what I thought looked to be professional photographs of my Dad's workshop with the eerie closeups of the cobwebs looking so magical. I've been hooked ever since!

I went on to be a Graphic Designer locally, before later working for a large design agency in London. In my late twenties I opted for a total career change. My desire to seek a rewarding challenge and to give something back, led me to become a Primary School Teacher. It was a full time role that I absolutely loved and still do today from time to time on a supply basis.

I have always been a keen photographer but my ambition to turn a hobby into a professional career came when I got married myself. I felt totally inspired by our own Wedding Photographer who truly reignited my creative flame and after much thought, I decided to take the plunge and go for it! I invested heavily in training and equipment and switched to the job of my dreams. Boy, did I make the right decision, I simply love it! To work with the most amazing couples and be amongst all of the positive energy, joy and happiness is such an amazing feeling. It's an absolute honour to help my couples relive the most important day of their lives through my photographs.
